Greedy, greedy MLB...

Major League Baseball has gone too far. Not only is the league littered with steroid use and tell-all books, but now the league stinks even more of arrogance and greed. Little league baseball players look up to their idols, heroes, and favorite players. Their hopes and dreams are created by those they see on the big screen. Many of them wish to become big league all-stars one day.

Way to dig cleats into your youngest fans, MLB. Great appreciation for those who help ensure your ridiculous salaries are paid each year.

MLB has threatened to sue little league baseball teams for using team names that are used by Major League teams! Although the little league teams were not using official MLB logos, they were calling themselves names such as the Tigers or the Cubs.

Whoa! Hold on little leaguers! You can't do that! You have to pay extra, and purchase your uniforms through a specific distributor, in order to use these trademarked names.

So for now, all of the little league teams in Suburban Chicago (and likely nationwide soon) will be called the Bulldogs by default, unless they opt to pay more for their uniforms. What about the children that can barely afford to play as it is?? What about playing the part of the team you idolize?? What about calling yourself, proudly, a Yankee?? MLB is throwing strikes at their fan base. Shame, shame, shame on you MLB.
This is almost as disgraceful as Jose Canseco. Greedy dopers.
