Seriously, Donte Greene, what qualifies you for the NBA?
Donte, I am sure that it is not your one year of experience with a team that used to be a force to be reckoned with in the NCAA that has deemed you NBA material. One year, barely advancing in the NIT tournament, is not enough time. You will be swallowed whole by those who have true experience in the professional game. Your 17.7 ppg and 7.2 rebounds per game will, likely, lessen if you enter the NBA. There are few men who truly advance and succeed in the NBA having spent such little time playing at the college level. Now, a Syracuse fan I most certainly am, but Lebron James devoured Carmelo Anthony in the NBA!!! Melo's latest press was on his DUI arrest.
Letting Boeheim, Cuse fans, and your teammates down will surely be quelled by the mega-bucks you intend to make. Aah, another year watching the NIT does not sound exciting. Come on Jonny Flynn, make Greene look back and look bad, and kick some ass during your sophomore year! Please don't leave us for the NBA!
